A B O U T
Known as Marktschwärmer in Germany, Food Assembly
combines an online food shopping place with weekly neighborhood pick up markets in a direct distribution system. It enables it’s members to meet small scale farmes, and purchase high-quality produce while bypassing the large chains. Each Food Assembly is an independent and local market while remaining part of The Food Assembly collective. It is the local farmers, foodmakers and a unique community spirit that keeps the network alive.
